Manage US payroll and benefits with precision in a remote role that supports employees nationwide. As the Payroll & Benefits Administrator, you'll oversee end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring timely and compliant delivery across all employment types. Your responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, processing payroll through Paychex Flex, and supporting benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
Key Responsibilities
- Process US payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring adherence to federal and state regulations
- Administer employee benefits, including enrollment, changes, and open enrollment support
- Maintain up-to-date and confidential payroll and benefits data
- Reconcile payroll records and resolve discrepancies in coordination with Finance and HR
- Respond to employee inquiries about pay, taxes, and benefits with professionalism
- Process employment lifecycle changes including hires, terminations, and promotions
- Generate reports for payroll and benefits operations as needed
- Stay current with evolving payroll and benefits regulations
- Support broader administrative and finance initiatives when required
What You Bring
You have at least two years of experience in US payroll and benefits administration and are skilled in platforms like Paychex Flex, Sage Business Cloud, or SAP. Proficiency in Google Suite is essential. You are detail-oriented, discreet, and thrive in fast-moving environments. Strong communication skills and a commitment to accuracy are central to your success.

Compensation and Work Environment
This is a remote position open to candidates in South Africa. You must be available during US East Coast business hours. The monthly salary range is $1,300–$1,500.
