About the Role
The Payment Specialist will oversee payment processing, monitor transaction integrity, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless financial operations across digital platforms.
Responsibilities
- Process incoming and outgoing payments accurately and on schedule
- Monitor transaction pipelines for anomalies or delays
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies promptly

- Identify inefficiencies in payment workflows and recommend improvements
- Work closely with technical teams to troubleshoot integration issues
- Assist in onboarding new payment methods or gateways
- Respond to audit requests related to transaction history
- Escalate complex payment failures following defined protocols
- Track and report on key performance metrics for payment success rates
- Stay current with evolving payment technologies and fraud trends
- Provide input for enhancing payment user experiences
- Coordinate with banking partners on settlement matters
- Verify authorization and authentication details for high-value transactions
- Support fraud detection efforts by flagging suspicious activity
