About the Role

Scarpel Telecom is looking for a Payment Account Executive to drive revenue growth by selling integrated payment solutions to new and existing automotive repair shop customers. You will act as a trusted advisor, optimizing payment processing and enhancing business operations while managing the full sales cycle.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, focusing on exceeding revenue and quota goals.
  • Maintain a strong, healthy pipeline of opportunities to ensure consistent deal flow.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
  • Effectively negotiate pricing and contract terms to maximize profitability.
  • Engage inbound and outbound leads, identifying key decision-makers and business needs.
  • Educate prospects on solution benefits through product demos and presentations.
  • Proactively manage accounts post-sale to ensure high customer satisfaction and identify expansion opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal Customer Success, Onboarding, Product, and Marketing teams for seamless implementation.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, pricing models, and the competitive payments and SaaS landscape.
  • Analyze customer processing statements to present savings and efficiency gains.
  • Attend and represent Tekmerchant at 5-10 industry events annually for networking and prospecting.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 4 years of B2B payments sales experience with a track record of exceeding quota.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in cold calling, in-person prospecting, and lead generation for SMB merchant accounts.
  • Deep understanding of integrated payments, merchant processing, and interchange pricing.
  • Experience managing full-cycle sales, from prospecting to closing, with a volume of 40+ deals per month.
  • Ability to read and interpret credit card processing statements.
  • Experience managing pipeline and sales activity in Salesforce.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with selling to or working within the auto repair industry.
  • Experience using GSuite, Slack, and payment processing platforms such as Stripe.
  • Ability to represent the company and generate leads at industry trade shows.
