About the Role

DoseSpot is looking for a Patient Support Technician to join our team as an RxLink Patient Support Representative. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for patients seeking assistance with our medication affordability program, providing clear guidance and compassionate support.

What You'll Do

  • Respond to patient inquiries via phone and email regarding the RxLink medication affordability program.
  • Explain how discount offers and manufacturer-provided offers work, including eligibility, restrictions, and how to use them at pharmacies.
  • Assist patients with troubleshooting issues, such as card usage problems or portal access.
  • Research optimal savings strategies for patients, considering their unique situations and insurance.
  • Provide accurate information on participating pharmacies, available discounts, and promotional terms.
  • Help patients understand how to maximize their savings and the implications of using the card alongside their insurance.
  • Document patient interactions and track follow-up actions.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or management when appropriate.
  • Continuously improve your knowledge of RxLink offerings, pharmacy discounts, and the pharmacy industry.
  • Provide exceptional patient service, demonstrating patience, professionalism, and empathy.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to explain complex information in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, email, and phone systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle patient concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet performance goals.
  • A positive, friendly attitude and a commitment to delivering excellent patient service.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Previous experience in patient service, particularly in healthcare or pharmacy-related roles.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy terminology and discount card programs.
