Amgen Inc. is looking for a Patient Support Program Operations Supervisor to lead the daily activities of a team supporting patient access programs. You will motivate, coach, and develop agent staff to achieve high performance and quality standards while delivering on key metrics. This role is central to our mission of serving patients living with serious illnesses.
What You'll Do
- Conduct daily monitoring of employee production to ensure teams meet performance and quality measures.
- Conduct routine performance reviews and provide direct feedback and coaching.
- Assist with the hiring and termination process.
- Provide day-to-day updates to team members on responsibilities.
- Help associates resolve work-related issues and ensure open communication.
- Proactively identify program issues and propose solutions.
- Maintain positive rapport with internal and external customers for continuous improvement.
- Understand contract obligations and assist in developing project plans and SOPs.
- Analyze reports for trends and provide actionable recommendations.
- Report all Adverse Events (AE) disclosed in alignment with training and SOPs.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree and 3 years of customer service/leadership experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience OR Associate’s degree and 10 years of experience OR High school diploma / GED and 12 years of experience.
- Experience directly managing people and/or leading teams, projects, programs, or directing resource allocation.
Nice to Have
- 3+ years of proven experience in a reimbursement HUB, medical insurance, physician’s office, or healthcare setting.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
- In-depth knowledge of reimbursement, patient assistance programs, database elements, and operational policies.
- Dynamic leadership skills to energize multidisciplinary teams.
