Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Patient Host or Hostess / SEIU - D to join our team. In this role, you will play a direct part in patient care by ensuring appropriate nutrition through menu assistance and safe, timely meal delivery.
What You'll Do
- Interact with patients to collect appropriate food selections.
- Edit and enter selections into the computer system and verify proper dietetic physician orders.
- Utilize proper food handling and food storage techniques when assembling patient trays and when receiving, rotating, and storing food.
- Deliver and retrieve food carts and ensure patient trays are delivered according to schedule.
- Maintain and assemble floor stock.

- Attention to detail for accurate data entry and diet order verification.
- Knowledge of basic food safety and handling procedures.
- Ability to follow schedules and procedures for timely meal delivery.
- Reliability and a focus on patient service.
Nice to Have
- 1 year of food and nutrition experience.
