Boehringer Ingelheim's Patient Engagement Internship Program is designed for students in their final year of a Bachelor's degree or pursuing a Master's/Postgraduate degree. You'll join our Patient Engagement department, which drives a patient-centric vision throughout the company by collaborating with Patient Organizations. This role provides firsthand experience in how patient engagement initiatives are designed and implemented across the entire product lifecycle.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate in the creation and management of content for internal and external channels aimed at patients.
- Support the adaptation of awareness and educational materials across different therapeutic areas to improve patients' quality of life and health condition management.
- Participate in patient engagement projects linked to different phases of the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing, and Communication teams on cross-functional initiatives.
- Learn the role of patient associations in the Spanish healthcare ecosystem and how industry should ethically and strategically relate to them.
- Support the design, implementation, and monitoring of strategic collaboration plans with patient associations, witnessing their real-life impact.
What We're Looking For
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences.
- Technical Skills: Good command of MS Office and an affinity for digital content and communication.
- Competencies: Proactivity, curiosity, organizational skills, eagerness to learn, team collaboration orientation, and strong communication skills.
- Languages: A high level of Spanish and English.
- Availability: Able to start on April 24, 2026, and complete a 12-month internship agreement.
Nice to Have
- Studies or knowledge in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Project Management, or Communication.
