Baptist Health is looking for a Patient Care Technician to serve as a supportive member of the patient care team at Baptist Medical Center South. In this role, you will assist in routine and non-complex aspects of patient care, working directly with RNs, LPNs, and Physicians in the patient care process.
What You'll Do
- Assist RNs, LPNs, and Physicians in the patient care process
- Assist in routine and non-complex aspects of patient care
What We're Looking For
- High School graduate or equivalent
- BLS certification
Nice to Have
- Graduate from a certified Nursing Assistant Program or a Health Occupations Program (HOSA)
- Completion of first clinical rotation as a Nurse Student (i.e., completion of 'Nursing Fundamentals' course)
- 1 year of experience in a patient care role in an acute care, nursing home or home care setting
Team & Environment
