Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) is looking for a Patient Care Technician to join the Surgical Advanced Care Unit (M18). In this role, you will provide support to the inpatient nursing staff, ensuring comfort and safety for patients and their family members. You will work under the supervision of a Clinical Nurse, assisting patients in a timely and efficient manner as part of our mission to end cancer for life.
What You'll Do
- Take vital signs, EKGs, and perform specimen collections.
- Collaborate with the clinical team, providing assistance with procedures when needed.
- Use basic computer and data entry skills.
What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years of healthcare-related experience in either a NA, PCT, EMT, Med Tech, Phlebotomist, or LPN discipline.
- If you have less than 2 years of experience, a Nursing Assistant or other healthcare-related certification within the past year and one year of healthcare-related experience (NA, PCT, EMT, Med Tech, Phlebotomist, LPN) is required.
- BLS certification required by the time of hire.

- Epic EMR experience a plus.
