We are hiring a Patient Access Schedule Agent to serve as the front door for patients to secure access to the right care, at the right time, with the right provider.
What You'll Do
- Handle incoming phone calls from patients, families, and referring providers to schedule appointments across multiple providers, clinics, departments, and campuses.
- Make outbound phone calls to patients to schedule appointments with specialists and subspecialists.
- Secure patient demographics and insurance information to facilitate the financial aspects of medical care.
- Process updates and corrections to patient insurance and demographic information.
- Collect patient liabilities prior to or on the date of service, as appropriate.
- Secure medical records from outside health care organizations based on appointment visit type.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma.
- English speaking, reading and writing skills.
- Strong intrapersonal and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Associate’s degree in business or a healthcare-related field.
- Previous scheduling and/or phone customer services experience.
- Previous experience in a health care organization.
- Bilingual speaking, reading, and writing skills.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $20.94 - $33.59
Work Mode
This is an onsite position with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 12pm-4pm.
