Inogen Careers is hiring a Part Time Support Specialist I to ensure respiratory equipment meets patient clinical needs in home settings. This role supports the local Referral Development Manager by taking on delivery and setup tasks.
What You'll Do
- Pick up and deliver respiratory equipment to patients in homes, hospitals, or physician offices.
- Assemble, set up, inspect, and test equipment, and instruct patients on basic operation within state licensing limits.
- Gather customer information, fulfill needs, and document interactions to prevent further contact.
- Maintain the highest quality of professional customer care.
- Complete all paperwork for deliveries, pick-ups, and testing.
- Operate a non-commercial vehicle carrying medical equipment.
- Work after-hours and on an on-call basis, including weekends and holidays.
- Complete safe driving programs, abide by motor vehicle laws, and demonstrate safe driving practices.
- Maintain valid licenses and endorsements required for the position.
- Facilitate credit card payments through the company-approved process.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance and comply with all company policies.
What We're Looking For
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of home medical equipment delivery experience.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- A combination of training, education, and experience equivalent to the qualifications above.
Nice to Have
- Oxygen therapy or respiratory-related home medical equipment delivery experience.
Team & Environment
This role supports the local Referral Development Manager (RDM) by handling delivery and setup tasks, allowing the RDM to focus on other priorities.
Benefits & Compensation
- Hourly pay range: $19.44 to $22.36.
Work Mode
This is a local-city position involving travel within the area.
