Responsibilities
- Deliver interactive, task-focused lessons remotely to students in VR or on PC.
- Lead small-group sessions in simulated environments like meeting rooms, airports, cafés, and doctor’s offices to help adult learners practice language skills in realistic contexts and build confidence.
Requirements
- BA in Spanish or a closely related field. (If the degree is not Spanish-related, a Spanish teaching certificate and extensive Spanish as a foreign language teaching experience is required.)
- Minimum 2 years of structured Spanish teaching experience.
- Experience teaching adult learners speaking and listening skills in professional or academic settings.
- Experience leading group classes with 8 or more students.
- Strong foundation in communicative and task-based teaching methods.
- Proficient with technology and adaptable to new platforms.
- C1 Spanish proficiency (CEFR) or Advanced High (ACTFL) equivalent required.
- Organized, reliable, and able to follow processes and communicate proactively.
- Minimum B2-level English proficiency.
Nice to Have
- High proficiency in Portuguese and/or experience teaching it.
- Experience teaching business or professional Spanish learners.
