Cox Automotive is looking for a Part Time Auction Support Specialist (Manheim). In this role, you’ll ensure accurate, efficient recording of vehicle and customer information during live sales and provide direct administrative support to the auctioneer virtually. You’ll join a team transforming the way the world buys, sells, and uses cars.
What You'll Do
- Utilize the AS400 system to record lane and Simulcast bid amounts, enter customer data, process all sold units, and verify/enter lights.
- Work with the auctioneer virtually to verify system information accurately represents the vehicle.
- Verify vehicle run order to ensure the appropriate vehicle is being keyed and sold.
- Operate the monitor virtually and work with the auctioneer to review Simulcast bids.
- Provide arbitration and other vehicle announcements to support the auctioneer.
- Call and e-mail on late titles.
- Utilize Salesforce for title absent support.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma/GED
- Generally, less than 2 years of experience
- Effective communication skills.
- Good problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to remain focused and composed during fast-paced sale-day activities.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
- Ability to lift 1-10 pounds.
- Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Nice to Have
- Ability to read, write and speak in Spanish.
