Kraft Heinz is seeking a Packaging Tech for our Cedar Rapids production plant. In this second-shift role, you will operate packaging machinery and perform a variety of production line duties to ensure the continuous flow of safe, high-quality products.

What You'll Do

Operate and set up Onpack machines for all product varieties
Assemble on-pack machines, including X-Ray systems
Sanitize conveyor buckets
Hook up pipes to kettles
Name, code, and date finished products
Monitor and record accurate temperatures
Return and retrieve preweigh carts from prep and blanch areas
Document times, temperatures, and weights
Accurately log required information into the IQS documentation system
Challenge and verify metal detector and X-Ray equipment
Change packaging film
Perform other duties as assigned

Team & Environment

You’ll join a 3-shift operation at a non-union facility with approximately 200 hourly staff members, a mix of temporary and full-time associates.
