RTX Corporation is hiring a P3 Principle Specialist, Procurement

Pratt & Whitney, a part of RTX Corporation, is seeking a P3 Principle Specialist, Procurement to join our team. In this role, you will manage medium-complexity procurement activities, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and corporate policy while driving cost-effective acquisition strategies.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and issue RFIs, RFPs, Letter Subcontracts, and Purchase Orders.
• Place purchase orders of medium complexity in accordance with FAR/DFAR and corporate compliance requirements.
• Perform price and cost analysis techniques to support proposals and placements.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to secure the best terms and conditions.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and align procurement with business goals.
• Monitor and manage supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and quality standards.
• Maintain Purchase Orders to ensure accurate and timely supplier delivery information.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to procurement and supply chain activities.
• Ensure adherence to RTX Corporation’s procurement policies and procedures.
• Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

What We're Looking For

• A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
• DoD procurement experience and knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS).
• Ability to place Purchase Orders over the TINA dollar threshold.
• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations.

Nice to Have

• SAP/PRISM based environment experience.
• Experience with technical requirements of procured hardware and services, including Statement of Work (SOW) review.
• Experience in written contractual authorization/vehicles.
• Knowledge and experience with Computer Hardware and Software placement.

• Compensation Range: $82,000 USD - $164,000 USD
