Midwest Pump Works, a UFT company, is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Specialist based in Eastern Iowa to drive sales of pumps and related services for municipal, industrial, and construction applications. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, proven sales abilities, and a self-motivated approach to building customer relationships and closing deals while traveling throughout Eastern Iowa.
What You'll Do
- Travel throughout Eastern Iowa to job sites and customer locations
- Build relationships with customers
- Generate leads
- Close sales
- Assist with pump repairs, motor repairs, and control panel repairs
- Provide hydraulic troubleshooting
- Perform system installations
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance
- Carry out full pump rebuilds
- Perform lift station service checks
- Respond to emergency service calls
