This role focuses on building and maintaining solutions in the Oracle Financials ecosystem. You'll work closely with business analysts, functional consultants, and IT teams to turn financial business requirements into scalable technical implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Customize and extend Oracle Financials modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management
- Integrate Oracle systems with internal platforms and third-party applications to support automated workflows and reliable data exchange
- Develop solutions using Oracle tools such as PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow, and OAF
- Support data migration initiatives, ensuring data integrity and consistency during system transitions
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, applying patches and managing system upgrades
- Write and execute test plans across development phases, from unit testing to user acceptance
- Document technical designs, configurations, and development standards
- Enforce security protocols and compliance measures across financial systems
- Monitor Oracle product updates and evaluate enhancements for system optimization
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Finance, or Accounting is required. You should have hands-on experience as an Oracle Financials Developer, particularly with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).
Proficiency in Oracle development technologies—including PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, OAF, and Workflow—is essential. Familiarity with EBS data models, APIs, and integration techniques is expected. Knowledge of core financial operations and accounting principles will support effective solution design.
Strong analytical abilities, clear communication skills, and experience working in cross-functional teams are important. Candidates must possess an active Secret Security Clearance.
Oracle certifications related to Financials or EBS development are advantageous but not required.
