Insight School of Washington (ISWA) / Stride K12 is hiring an Operations Support Specialist to execute and oversee daily operational functions for our online schools. You will ensure accurate data flow between systems, implement operational requirements, and maintain functional virtual classrooms.
What You'll Do
- Update databases and work with the administrative team to monitor information, including progress reports, report cards, and ISMA.
- Disseminate timely communication regarding systems issues to staff.
- Manage At-Task Submittals.
- Assist with staff concerns related to systems and operational issues.
- Identify staff systems training needs and provide training for new systems and changes.
- Manage activities associated with the Stride year-end transition process and reclamation efforts.
- Process student transfers between Stride programs.
- Resolve student, parent, and teacher escalations related to school operations, including troubleshooting access issues with courses and programs.
- Monitor data validity and provide weekly reporting for school management.
- Attend weekly Stride Operations and School Pathways calls and share pertinent information.
- Work with the Head of School and Academic Administrator to identify relevant school timelines and deadlines and set them up in various systems.
- Manage start-of-school efforts, including classroom setup.
- Work closely with the Head of School and Principal on school planning, policy, finances, and performance, advising on and managing the development of school policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Three (3) years of relevant professional experience in education and school operations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Great organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook.
- Strong technology skills.
- Detail-oriented approach.
- Experience using search engines for research projects.
- Experience using a student information system or other database.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to clear a required background check.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree.
