CHS Inc., an agricultural company dedicated to creating connections to empower agriculture, is hiring an Operations Specialist for its Strasburg, ND facility. You will execute general labor responsibilities efficiently in a fun and safe work environment that serves the local community.

What You'll Do

Develop and maintain knowledge of handled commodities and comply with company policy and government regulations.
Work with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
Prepare trucks for loading and unloading, including sampling, opening hatches, and attaching hoses.
Load and unload agricultural inputs using heavy or light duty machinery.
Control and monitor all load out functions.
Understand and operate automated scale and dump systems.
Conduct and properly record daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks.
Monitor and maintain quality of inventory.
Deliver products such as fertilizer, chemical, seed, and feed to customer sites.
Keep all work areas clean, orderly, and safe.
Perform grounds maintenance including snow removal.
Perform warehouse work including driving loader, loading/unloading inventory, forklift operation, and general maintenance.
Promptly report any customer complaints, repair needs, or safety concerns to supervisor.
Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth facility operation and excellent customer service.

What We're Looking For

Must meet minimum age requirement.
1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Business Operations.

Nice to Have

High School diploma or GED.
CDL license or ability to attain one with Hazmat endorsement.
Ability to operate machinery such as loaders, conveyors, and tractors.
Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons to meet business demands.
