CVS Health is seeking an Operations Manager to join our Store Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty through a focus on excellent customer service. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will help lead the strategic operation of the store and maintain an engaged, productive team.
What You'll Do
- Manage overall store operations, supervision, and policy implementation.
- Oversee sales and inventory management.
- Handle employee staffing, training, and development.
- Manage store finances.
- Provide leadership in customer service.
- Lead and work effectively with store crews.
- Supervise, assign, and direct the activities of the store’s team.
- Communicate information effectively to store crew and supervisors.
- Support the Store Manager in developing action plans for operational and service improvement.
- Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
- Promote the CVS customer service culture of greeting, offering help, and thanking customers.
What We're Looking For
- Strong deductive reasoning ability, advanced analytical skills, and computer skills.
- Advanced communication, leadership, supervision, and influencing skills.
- Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent store issues.
Nice to Have
- Experience as a retail manager or supervisor.
- A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
