Solenis is hiring an Operations Manager, Wastewater to be responsible for leading operational excellence across all shifts at the Hyundai Motors site in Ellabell, GA. This role coordinates resources to ensure on-time execution of the wastewater processing schedule to meet customer demands, drives daily operations, leads the Operations teams, and works collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
What You'll Do
- Lead, develop, and coach a staff of Operators while utilizing Solenis’ processes and programs to ensure a safe and consistent work environment.
- Meet or exceed wastewater processing goals defined by the Area Manager, the customer, and Solenis by managing the Operations departments and operational KPIs.
- Be a critical leader and contributor to continuous improvement efforts to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Meet or exceed financial and budgetary goals for designated departments and the site.
- Share accountability for improving and sustaining autonomous and preventative maintenance by the operators.
- Develop, implement, and ensure adherence to all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for each area of production assigned.
- Partner with the maintenance department to coordinate planned maintenance activities.
- Lead and support root cause analysis, process and follow through for safety incidents and quality defects.
- Train and coach employees by utilizing the Solenis’ Performance Management and Training programs.
- Maintain an up-to-date cross training matrix for every line.
- Contribute to development of annual operating budgets, especially relative to required labor and labor training requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or similar degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of work experience in a wastewater processing environment.
- At least 3 years managing a team.
