Blueground is looking for an Operations Lead to serve as the operational front-line for our properties in San Francisco. You will ensure our units meet the highest quality standards and are fully prepared for guest arrivals, coordinating closely with operations and housekeeping teams.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate with Operations Managers to ensure all properties are fully equipped and ready for guest move-ins.
- Serve as Blueground’s operational front-line, ensuring new properties meet standards and handling maintenance, repairs, and technology issues.
- Conduct pre-check-in and post-check-out inspections using a mobile checklist to ensure apartment quality standards.
- Supervise and oversee the housekeeping team to manage the complete apartment turnover process.
- Perform housekeeping duties to ensure apartments are fully prepared in a single visit.
- Oversee and ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation of apartments.
- Conduct regular cleaning evaluations and provide on-the-spot feedback to housekeeping teams.
- Maintain and drive Blueground’s corporate vans, ensuring pristine condition and managing inventory.
- Carry out Blueground home walkthroughs to ensure all quality assurance criteria are met.
- Participate in ad hoc operational projects, such as managing key inventory and organizing local storage.
- Gather and upload property-related information onto Blueground’s internal platform for guest instructions.
- Demonstrate operational efficiency as the main point of contact between Operations Leaders and the Customer Experience team.
- Balance operational workflows with independent on-the-go tasks and critical time-sensitive needs.
