Lead the end-to-end execution of operations and maintenance projects for large-scale solar and renewable energy sites. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-performing project outcomes while maintaining strong client relationships and financial accountability.
What You'll Do
- Direct multidisciplinary teams on-site and remotely, guiding performance and development across renewable energy O&M projects
- Manage full project lifecycles with focus on safety compliance, technical performance, budget adherence, and client expectations
- Serve as the main contact for clients, overseeing both operational delivery and commercial responsibilities
- Conduct regular site inspections, particularly during project onboarding and in locations across New South Wales and Queensland
- Coordinate with international teams through scheduled after-hours meetings with colleagues in Europe, the Americas, and Asia
- Monitor project finances, workforce planning, and contract execution to ensure strategic goals are met
Requirements
- At least two years of experience in managing O&M projects within utility-scale solar or comparable energy environments
- Proven leadership in team development, communication, and project execution
- Experience managing technical teams, budgets, and contracts in highly regulated settings
- Strong background in safety systems, including electrical hazard control and compliance with WHSEQ standards
- Understanding of financial management principles such as budgeting, cost tracking, and reporting
- Familiarity with energy generation systems, asset management practices, and utility-scale inverter technology
- Tertiary degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or a related field
- Current Australian driver’s license
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
