Memorial Healthcare System is seeking an Operating Room Assistant I to join our Surgical Services team. In this role, you will create a sanitary, safe environment and assist nurses with patient care for our Operating Rooms. This position is part of our ongoing commitment to improve health, well-being, and quality of life through excellence, compassion, and collaboration.
What You'll Do
- Stock supplies in surgical suites as necessary or designated.
- Assist nurses with providing basic patient care.
- Clean OR surgical suites and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing linens, and sanitizing all surfaces.
- Assist with moving surgical equipment.
- Assist with transporting specimens and instruments.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (multiple formats accepted) or the Red Cross
Work Mode
This is an onsite position located at Memorial Hospital West – Graduate Medical Education Building - 703 North Flamingo Road, Pembroke Pines, FL 33028.
