Engineering Industries eXcellence is looking for an Opcenter Process Developer to implement and support Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions. You will work under a service manager and technical leads to define project tasks, troubleshoot complex issues, and train end-users to drive solution acceptance.
What You'll Do
- Work with a service manager to define project tasks and identify task duration.
- Report to the service manager on task advancement.
- Work independently under the guidance of technical leads.
- Understand and troubleshoot technical issues related to software development, branch/release conflicts, and engineering tasks.
- Apply project best practices and support changes to streamline operations.
- Build validation tests and work with the service manager to execute unit, regression, integration, and functional tests.
- Train and coach end-users on MES solutions.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in Siemens Opcenter Execution process.
- Knowledge of software release management on multiple environments (e.g., DEV, QA, PROD).
- Comfortable working in a 24x7 support model.
Nice to Have
- MES interface experience with 3rd party automation systems (e.g., DeltaV, Siemens PCS7, Siemens SIMATIC Batch, Rockwell PLCs/SCADA).
- Mendix Programming experience.
- Experience with Team Foundation Server and/or Jira.
- Previous Application Management Services (AMS) Support experience.
- Strong background in MES and manufacturing processes of Process or Discrete industries.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in virtual/remote teams.
- High degree of adaptability to learn new technologies.
