Role Overview
As an Oncology Sales Representative in Los Angeles, you will play a key role in launching a newly approved targeted therapy for lung cancer. Your primary responsibility will be to engage directly with oncologists, oncology nurses, pharmacists, and office staff through in-person visits to educate them about the therapy’s approved uses and associated patient support services.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with physicians and key decision-makers in the healthcare community
- Deliver accurate, science-based product information to healthcare professionals in a clear and compliant manner
- Use a customer relationship management (CRM) system to document interactions, track follow-ups, and plan account strategies
- Stay current on disease state knowledge, product positioning, and evolving oncology treatments through ongoing training
- Travel frequently to medical offices and hospitals, with 80% of time spent in the field, including occasional overnight and weekend travel for medical meetings
- Collaborate with internal teams to align resources and support customer needs effectively
