DOF Subsea is hiring an Offshore HSE Supervisor

About the Role

DOF Subsea is hiring an Offshore HSE Supervisor to ensure the safety and health of our offshore personnel and project operations. You will provide direct support, guidance, and feedback to offshore asset teams while collaborating closely with our onshore HSE team to develop and deliver safe, compliant operations.

What You'll Do

  • Visit vessels in the Gulf of Mexico, Trinidad, and Guyana during port calls, mobilizations, and demobilizations.
  • Provide internal training according to the DOF training and competence matrix, including Management System Training.
  • Deliver training and advice on DOF’s Risk Assessment and Permit to Work procedures and systems.
  • Ensure annual control and re-certification of fall safety and rescue at height equipment.
  • Carry out Permit to Work audits during onboard visits.
  • Report all vessel visit findings and forward to the HSEQ Manager and VP of Subsea.
  • Review vessel Safety Observation Cards, JSA, and TBT.
  • Inspect Work at Height (WAH) and Fall Rescue Equipment.
  • Manage PPE inventory.
  • Focus on lifting operations and dropped object prevention.
  • Promote safety reporting and participate in or lead incident investigations.
  • Liaise with Contractor HSE personnel to implement DOF and Project HSEQ procedures.
  • Participate in and execute walkabouts, inspections, and audits, ensuring findings are closed out.
  • Ensure all HSE requirements from the IMS are effectively implemented onboard (meetings, inspections, drills).
  • Execute training, follow-up campaigns, and support the onshore HSEQ department as required.
  • Assist Project Managers, Offshore Managers, and HSEQ in preparing and revising vessel Risk Assessments.
  • Contribute to the HSEQ Department by performing internal audits, training sessions, and procedure revisions.

What We're Looking For

  • High school Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience sailing on offshore support or construction vessels.
  • Valid and current offshore medical certificate acceptable in the region of employment.
  • Valid and current offshore survival certificate acceptable in the region of employment.
  • Valid and current driver's license and passport.

Work Mode

This is an onsite position requiring travel to and work on vessels in the Gulf of Mexico, Trinidad, and Guyana.
