Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive virtual patient assessments and medical evaluations
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions within scope of practice
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results
- Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions as needed
- Document patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide patient education on health conditions and treatment options
- Coordinate care with other healthcare providers when necessary
- Maintain current clinical knowledge and apply best practices
- Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations
- Support patient engagement and long-term health goals
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Respond to patient messages within established timeframes
- Uphold patient confidentiality and data security standards
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Minnesota
- National certification as a Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience post-licensure
- Experience in primary care, women's health, or internal medicine
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
- Valid DEA registration or ability to obtain one
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a virtual setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Comfort with telehealth platforms and digital tools
- Commitment to inclusive, equitable patient care
- Ability to adapt to evolving clinical protocols
- Experience with menopause or midlife health a plus
