Midi Health is hiring a Nurse Practitioner - Massachusetts (MA) License

Responsibilities

  • Provide primary care to patients, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatments.
  • Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare team.
  • Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
  • Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare providers.
  • Perform physical examinations and health screenings.
  • Manage chronic conditions and provide follow-up care.
  • Administer immunizations and vaccinations.
  • Provide health education and counseling to patients and families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain clinical competencies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Adhere to legal and ethical standards in healthcare practice.
  • Participate in on-call rotations as scheduled.
  • Attend regular team meetings and training sessions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical advancements and best practices.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy.
  • Provide culturally sensitive care to diverse patient populations.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to patient care and documentation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of clinical protocols.
  • Provide support and mentorship to nursing staff and students.
  • Participate in community outreach and health promotion activities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards of care.
