The Nurse Case Manager (1099 Contractor) at The IMA Group uses clinical expertise to manage medical care for injured workers in the Nashville, TN area, with a focus on workers' compensation cases. This position involves coordinating treatment plans, engaging with providers and insurers, and supporting successful return-to-work outcomes—all without providing direct bedside care.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and manage medical care for injured workers
- Collaborate with providers, employers, attorneys, and insurance carriers
- Assess treatment plans for medical necessity and efficiency
- Attend appointments and deliver timely, detailed reports
- Coordinate IMEs (Independent Medical Examinations)
- Perform job site evaluations
- Support return-to-work planning and progress
What We're Looking For
- Active RN license
- 3+ years of Field Nurse Case Management experience in Workers’ Compensation
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and using technology
- Reliable transportation for travel within Nashville and surrounding areas
- Malpractice/liability insurance (or ability to obtain)
