Mass General Brigham is hiring a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse to support the Allergy team at Pentucket Medical Associates' Allergy Clinic. This LPN/RN will provide direct and indirect patient care while floating between the Newburyport and Haverhill practices.
What You'll Do
- Interview patients about current problems, medications, and allergies, reviewing medical records for pertinent information.
- Measure and record patients' vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration.
- Provide basic patient care or treatments, including dressing wounds, administering routine immunizations, and performing nebulizer treatments and visual acuity tests.
- Participate in patient treatment regimens, including administering medications under the supervision of a physician and registered nurse.
- Perform office responsibilities such as answering phones, taking messages, and performing triage within the scope of licensed practical nursing practice.
- Collect samples from patients and perform routine laboratory tests.
- Prepare patients for examinations, tests, or treatments and explain procedures.
- Assist patients with bathing, dressing, maintaining personal hygiene, and moving.
What We're Looking For
- Trade/Technical/Vocational Diploma Licensed Practical Nurse required or Associate's Degree Nursing required.
- Licensed Practical Nurse [LPN - State License] required or Registered Nurse [RN - State License] required.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred.
- Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] preferred.
- 0-1 year of medical experience preferred.

You will work under the supervision of a Nurse Manager or licensed clinical leader and in collaboration with other team members.

Work Mode
This is an onsite position requiring travel between the 1 Parkway, Newburyport and Haverhill practices.
