GFIC was looking for a Nordics Technical Sales Manager Food Ingredients Distribution

Drive growth in food ingredients across the Nordics by combining technical knowledge with strategic sales. As Technical Sales Manager, you'll represent a portfolio of innovative food ingredients, working directly with food and beverage manufacturers to understand their challenges and co-develop effective solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Assess market trends and supplier product lines to uncover new business potential
  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies for assigned product categories
  • Visit customers to evaluate needs, propose value-driven solutions, and conduct lab or production-scale trials
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to align product offerings with market demands
  • Manage key projects alongside customer service leads and category specialists
  • Support the setup and operation of a local sales presence in the region
  • Monitor offer follow-ups, order fulfillment, and payment processes
  • Prepare sales forecasts and manage budget execution

What We're Looking For

  • Degree in Food Technology or a related field
  • Strong problem-solving skills and genuine interest in food product innovation
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities
  • Fluency in English and a local Nordic language, both written and spoken
  • High level of organization, reliability, and a proactive mindset
  • Willingness to travel frequently across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland
  • Valid driving license
