Xenon7 is looking for a Node.js + Python Engineer to build backend services, APIs, automation, and data-driven features on a modern platform. You’ll work with a distributed engineering team using technologies like Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, and cloud-native tooling.

What You'll Do

Build and maintain backend services using Node.js and Python
Design and optimize REST APIs, microservices, and backend workflows
Work with PostgreSQL for schema design, queries, and performance tuning
Develop automation scripts, integrations, and backend utilities
Collaborate with product, DevOps, and frontend teams to deliver features end-to-end
Write clean, testable, maintainable code following best practices
Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning

What We're Looking For

3–7+ years of backend engineering experience
Strong hands-on experience with Node.js (Express, Fastify, NestJS, or similar)
Solid Python experience (automation, APIs, scripts, services)
Strong SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL
Experience with microservices, API design, and distributed systems
Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Good understanding of authentication, authorization, and security best practices
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills
