Join Zeely Inc. as a Senior Back-End Developer to build and maintain a high-growth AI-powered platform that generates viral user-generated content and ad campaigns for small businesses. You will work directly with stakeholders, influence product decisions, and contribute to a scalable, clean-code-driven system used by over 1 million users in the US.
What You'll Do
- Developing and maintaining the back-end of web applications
- Designing and building REST APIs
- Working with PostgreSQL and Redis databases
- Integrating with third-party APIs
- Building and deploying applications on AWS (EC2, S3, CloudFront)
- Writing unit and integration tests
- Optimizing application performance
- Debugging and troubleshooting issues
- Writing technical documentation
- Conducting code reviews
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of commercial experience with Node.js applications
- 1+ year of experience with microservices architecture
- 2+ years of hands-on work with Redis and PostgreSQL/MySQL (data modeling, indexing, caching, ORM such as Prisma/TypeORM/Drizzle ORM)
- Experience with AWS
- 2+ years of experience with message brokers
- 1+ year of experience with Docker
- Understanding of scalable and reliable system design principles
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- English level: Upper-Intermediate
Nice to Have
- 1+ year of experience with the NestJS framework
- Experience with payment systems
- Valid AWS certification
- Commercial experience with high-load systems
- Experience building back-end for iOS, Android, and web applications
- Experience with Terraform/Pulumi
- Commercial experience with AI APIs
