Shape the infrastructure behind real-time operations at scale
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Cloud Platform team, you'll build and refine the core systems that process continuous data streams from a global network of devices. Your work will directly influence the reliability, performance, and evolution of a platform used across industries to modernize physical operations.
What You’ll Do
- Design and maintain scalable backend services and APIs that support high-throughput, low-latency operations
- Own critical components of the platform infrastructure, including developer tooling and deployment systems
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define and deliver new capabilities
- Improve system architecture with a focus on security, observability, and long-term maintainability
- Guide other engineers through code reviews, mentorship, and advocacy for best practices
What We’re Looking For
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of five years in software development with a focus on backend systems
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar languages used in server-side applications
- Proven experience with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Strong grasp of distributed systems, microservices, and container-based deployment using Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience working with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL, caching layers, and data modeling
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure managed as code
Nice-to-Have
- Background in real-time data processing or streaming technologies
- Exposure to IoT, logistics, or industrial systems
- Contributions to open source projects
- Experience operating large-scale systems in production
