General Dynamics NASSCO is hiring a Nightshift Foreman Rigging to lead our ship repair operations in Norfolk, Virginia. You will supervise and coordinate a team during the night shift, ensuring efficient execution of rigging tasks.
What You'll Do
- Lead, guide, coordinate, and supervise a team of Journeyman Level Mechanics, Trainees, Helpers, and Subcontracted Labor.
What We're Looking For
- BA/BS plus 2 years in a related field, AA/AS plus 4 years of directly related experience, or 8 years of directly related ship building/ship repair experience.
- In-depth knowledge in all facets of the trade relating to ship repair.
- Working knowledge of contracting and estimating procedures.
- Demonstrated knowledge and utilization of production processes, methods, quality, and technology.
- Effective leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Proven ability in a people environment.
- Capability in Microsoft products.
