Cognizant is hiring a Network Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and manage our network infrastructure. As an experienced Infrastructure Architect specializing in load balancing, switching, routing, and WAN optimization, you will be responsible for creating robust solutions that enhance performance and reliability.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement robust infrastructure solutions to enhance performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network components seamlessly.
- Analyze current network setups and recommend performance improvements.
- Deploy, configure, and manage load balancers to ensure efficient traffic distribution.
- Manage and maintain Cisco switching and routing systems for uninterrupted connectivity.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot to minimize downtime.
- Provide expertise in WAN optimization to improve speed and reduce latency.
- Develop and enforce network security protocols.
- Conduct regular assessments to identify vulnerabilities and improvement areas.
What We're Looking For
- 10–14 years of hands-on experience in load balancing, switching, routing, and Cisco technologies.
- Strong experience with WAN optimizers.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
