Contact Government Services, LLC is hiring a Network Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and reliable network infrastructure to support our clients' critical missions.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and manage network solutions including LAN, WAN, and wireless infrastructure.
- Configure and maintain network hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Implement and enforce network security policies and best practices.
- Collaborate with IT teams and clients to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in network engineering, design, and administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with enterprise-class routers, switches, and firewalls.
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs).
- Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Work Mode
This position operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring a mix of on-site and remote work. Candidates must be available to work from our offices in Washington, DC and Arlington, VA as needed.
