At Jobgether, we are looking for a Network Engineer II to play a critical role in designing, maintaining, and optimizing our LAN/WAN infrastructure across multiple sites. You will join a dynamic, clinical-oriented enterprise environment where your technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills will support our IT teams, leadership, and non-technical stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN network infrastructure across multiple locations to ensure high availability and performance.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network operations, including Meraki devices (switches, routers, and access points) and VoIP systems.
- Conduct regular network security assessments and implement best practices to safeguard sensitive data and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business continuity, disaster recovery, and IT project initiatives.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and changes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, including HIPAA.
- Provide backup support for help desk operations and maintain effective communication with technical and non-technical personnel.
- Participate in scheduled meetings, contribute to ongoing IT initiatives, and support a continuous learning culture.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of IT experience, with at least 4 years focused on networking.
- Proven experience leading network-related projects across 20+ locations.
- Strong knowledge of Meraki/Cisco network devices and Azure Firewall.
- Experience with VoIP systems, including Microsoft Teams Voice.
- Competency in Python, PowerShell, and AI-driven IT solutions.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to travel locally within Southern California, with occasional extended travel.
- Cultural competency and commitment to continuous learning.
Nice to Have
- CCNA certification preferred.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and experience working in healthcare or regulated environments preferred.
