Jobgether is hiring a Cloud Engineer, AWS to design, build, and manage our cloud infrastructure. In this remote role, you will deliver secure and reliable AWS solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive automation and operational excellence.
What You'll Do
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure following best practices and the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK for automated, repeatable deployments.
- Perform cloud migrations of workloads, applications, and data with minimal downtime and secure configurations.
- Monitor and optimize AWS resources using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Config, and third-party monitoring tools.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and integrate DevOps best practices into deployment workflows.
- Implement and manage identity and access controls, governance, and compliance policies.
- Participate in incident response, problem management, and performance tuning of AWS-hosted environments.
- Contribute to team knowledge sharing, documentation, and process improvements.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud platform and infrastructure deployment.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (VPC, subnets, route tables, security groups, NACLs, VPN).
- Experience managing core AWS services: EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS, CloudFront.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, ELK, Prometheus).
- Knowledge of security and compliance in AWS (IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Security Hub).
- Experience integrating AWS environments with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Multi-cloud exposure (Azure, GCP).
- Containerization experience (Docker, Kubernetes – EKS preferred).
- Experience with DevOps tools (Ansible, Jenkins, Git, Terraform Cloud).
- Knowledge of serverless architectures and event-driven design (Lambda, Step Functions, SNS/SQS).
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional, or Terraform Associate.
