Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is looking for a Network Engineer to join our team. You will design, implement, and maintain our data center network infrastructure, working with enterprise-level technologies in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement data center network architectures
- Configure and maintain network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and implement solutions
- Perform network capacity planning and performance tuning
- Manage network security and implement best practices
- Collaborate with other IT teams on infrastructure projects
- Maintain documentation of network configurations and topology
- Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency support
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in data center networking
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and switching technologies
- Expertise with Cisco networking equipment and IOS
- Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and network virtualization
- Familiarity with cloud networking concepts (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- CCNP or equivalent industry certification
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Nice to Have
- CCIE certification
- Experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Python)
- Knowledge of data center technologies (SAN, load balancing, VDI)
- Familiarity with ITIL processes
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, etc.)
