BioPak is hiring a Network Administrator to join our team. In this work from home role, you will provide comprehensive remote IT support and technical assistance to our clients. You will be responsible for handling system updates, troubleshooting complex issues, and maintaining high standards of IT service delivery.
What You'll Do
- Resolve workstation operating system issues of any kind
- Resolve printer issues of any kind
- Resolve standard business application (Office, etc.) issues of any kind
- Resolve line-of-business application issues for common applications (SAGE ERP, QuickBooks), and for more niche applications with vendor assistance
- Resolve server issues of any kind
- Resolve networking issues of any kind
- Act as an escalation point for technicians
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Support or in a similar role
- Experience with Windows and Mac OS troubleshooting
- Experience with Windows Server 2012 and up
- Experience supporting M365 and Azure
- Proficient in Firewall rules, VLAN configuration, access point support and administration, and VPN tunnels
- Advanced knowledge of Firewalls, Switches, Network architecture, and troubleshooting
- Advanced understanding of managing, and troubleshooting networks
- Advanced understanding of virtualized environments
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related
- Experience with Managed Service Providers (MSPs)
- Active Network Certifications
- Experience with VMWare and Hyper-V Virtualization
