SRG Global Mining Services is hiring an NDT Technician for a permanent full-time position. In this key role based in Portland, Victoria, you will provide essential non-destructive testing services, detecting defects and verifying compliance for long-term clients in line with industry standards. Reporting to the Operations Manager, your work ensures the integrity of critical materials, components, and structures.
What You'll Do
- Carry out inspections using various NDT methods.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients through effective communication.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Prepare and produce high-quality reports following company procedures and industry standards.
What We're Looking For
- A current full driver licence.
- Australian working rights.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen.
Nice to Have
- Proven experience in NDT inspections.
- Current NDT qualifications such as ISO 9712, MT2, PT2, UT2, ET2, RT2, IRIS, PAUT/TOFT, or SLOFEC methods.
Team & Environment
You will form part of a skilled and high-performing on-site inspections team, reporting directly to the Operations Manager.
