About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload, including complex litigation and claims management.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for case resolution.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  • Prepare and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Negotiate settlements and mediate disputes to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials and hearings.
  • Collaborate with a team of legal professionals to manage cases efficiently.
  • Stay current with legal developments and industry trends.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and records.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior attorneys and legal staff.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Manage and oversee the work of paralegals and legal assistants.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with litigation and claims management.
  • Participate in continuing legal education and professional development activities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of firm policies and procedures.
  • Provide input on case strategies and legal opinions.
  • Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses for testimony.
  • Review and analyze medical records and other relevant documents.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and training sessions on legal topics.
  • Assist in the development of marketing and business development strategies.
