About the Role
This position is responsible for overseeing marketing budget planning, tracking, and financial analysis for the Mexico market, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage marketing budget allocations for the Mexico region
- Track spending against approved budgets and identify variances
- Prepare financial reports and dashboards for leadership review
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate forecasting
- Support month-end closing processes related to marketing expenditures
- Analyze marketing performance data to inform financial decisions
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and policies
- Coordinate with external vendors and outsourced partners
- Maintain up-to-date records of marketing spend and commitments
- Assist in the development of annual marketing budget plans
- Provide insights on budget utilization trends and risks
- Facilitate communication between finance and marketing teams
- Review invoices and marketing-related financial documents
- Support audits by providing necessary financial documentation
- Track marketing campaign costs across multiple channels
- Identify opportunities to improve budget forecasting accuracy
- Ensure timely submission of financial reports
- Work closely with regional stakeholders to align budgeting with strategy
- Manage data integrity in financial systems and tools
- Assist in the implementation of process improvements
- Monitor key performance indicators related to marketing spend
- Prepare ad hoc analyses for executive decision-making
