NRECA is hiring a Multimedia Producer to craft compelling visual and audio stories that advance our mission and highlight the work of our member cooperatives. You will translate complex concepts into high-quality multimedia content, aligning with our advocacy, editorial, and marketing priorities while ensuring brand consistency.
What You'll Do
- Advise business leaders and cross-functional teams on multimedia strategy to elevate advocacy and organizational objectives.
- Define the strategic direction for content coverage to meet business and financial goals.
- Lead multimedia production and govern the process to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Create a multimedia plan aligned with NRECA's goals and policy agenda in collaboration with Communications managers and stakeholders.
- Identify key topics and opportunities for multimedia across NRECA's digital channels.
- Manage video production projects from conception through post-production and delivery.
- Conceptualize, script, and create multimedia content including slideshows, infographics, and videos for marketing, editorial, social media, and events.
- Produce and edit NRECA podcasts and handle other audio production needs.
- Provide videography and still photography coverage at NRECA meetings, events, and hearings on Capitol Hill.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, multimedia, videography, video production, or a related field.
- 7 or more years of progressive work experience in a fast-paced creative and production environment.
- At least 5 years of direct experience with video shooting and editing.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator), AI video editing software, and content management systems.
- Strong skills in visual storytelling, graphic design, and typography.
- Proficient with a Canon EOS C100 or other DSLRs, audio input and mixers, and shooting and lighting equipment.
- Experience in audio mastering and color correcting.
- Knowledge of industry standards and design best practices with extensive knowledge of videography, photography, storyboarding, design, and production principles, supported by an extensive portfolio.
