JPMorgan Chase & Co. is looking for a Motion Designer to join the Chase Digital Channels Team. In this role, you will define and implement Chase's motion design language across mobile and web products. You'll create scalable, impactful motion that enhances usability, reinforces the brand, and fosters a culture of inclusivity and accessibility.
What You'll Do
- Create high-quality animation proposals for brand assets in key customer moments, from proof of concept to final execution.
- Define scalable animation frameworks that allow updates as new assets enter the design system.
- Help define the motion design language and guide its application within tech and accessibility parameters.
- Enhance UI by extending existing brand guidelines and establishing core frameworks that drive design at scale.
- Help create design system guidelines to empower design teams across DCE and Marketing and Advertising.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate motion design into product development processes.
- Mentor junior designers and foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and accessibility.
- Analyze market trends, gather user research feedback, and learn from data insights to inform motion design decisions.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience as a motion designer or in animation/motion design roles.
- Expertise in animation principles and tools.
- A strong portfolio delivering video and motion for native iOS and Android apps, as well as web.
- Advanced understanding of design systems, UX, and UI product design.
- Demonstrated experience in inclusive design and accessibility guidelines.
- Proven ability to create frameworks that support scalable design and brand expression.
- Ability to concept, design, and deliver motion for design at scale.
- Skilled in organizing assets and managing production processes with attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, capable of independent decision-making, and receptive to direction.
- Excellent collaborator and team player, able to participate in critique and incorporate feedback.
- An easy-to-access online portfolio highlighting multiple projects and direct contributions.
