As a Motion Designer, you’ll define how our brand moves and communicates. You’ll transform static concepts into expressive animation that clarifies ideas and strengthens identity across digital platforms, live streams, and community events.
What You’ll Do
- Design and produce animated content for educational explainers, product demonstrations, social media, and live broadcasts
- Develop motion systems—including logos, transitions, and lower-thirds—that align with our visual language
- Create dynamic event assets for conferences, hackathons, and online campaigns
- Convert design systems into fluid, well-timed animations with attention to rhythm and composition
- Collaborate with design and content teams from concept through execution, contributing to storyboards and early ideation
- Build and maintain reusable motion assets to support consistency and efficiency
- Explore AI-powered tools to enhance creative workflows and expand visual possibilities
- Stay informed about emerging trends in animation, design, and interactive media
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in motion design for brand, product, or educational content, backed by a strong portfolio
- Proficiency in After Effects, Lottie, and animation handoff processes
- Familiarity with Figma, Rive, and AI-assisted tools
- Strong understanding of typography, color, layout, and motion principles
- Experience creating and managing motion libraries
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and adapt to fast-moving priorities
- Attention to accessibility and how motion impacts clarity and user experience
Nice to Have
- Availability during EST hours for collaboration
- Understanding of blockchain and crypto culture
- Experience with 3D tools like Blender, Cinema 4D, or Unreal Engine
- Background in prototyping with Principle, Framer, or Invision
- Skills in storyboarding, animatics, or sound design
- Scripting knowledge (e.g., JavaScript for After Effects, Python for Blender)
