Base44, part of Wix, is looking for a Motion Designer who crafts compelling visual narratives through motion, built on a strong foundation of design principles. In this role, you'll design for motion using composition, typography, and color to extend our brand's visual identity and storytelling within our fast, collaborative culture focused on turning complex problems into simple solutions.
What You'll Do
- Develop styleframes and storyboards to establish the creative direction for projects.
- Shape brand aesthetics through motion, ensuring consistency across digital platforms.
- Collaborate with designers, animators, editors, and 3D artists to bring concepts to life.
- Work closely with creatives and marketers to translate ideas into compelling motion visuals.
- Think beyond animation to focus on storytelling, product experience, and visual impact.
- Stay ahead of trends and explore new techniques in motion design, branding, and interactive visuals.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Motion Designer with a strong design-first approach and deep expertise in typography, color theory, and composition.
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
- Familiarity with 3D workflows and an openness to AI-enhanced design tools.
- A sharp eye for aesthetics to craft beautiful, effective, and brand-consistent motion work.
- Strong conceptual thinker capable of ideating, sketching, and designing motion-based storytelling.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Proactive and independent, takes initiative, adapts quickly, and leads motion design projects from start to finish.
