Welltech is seeking a Motion Design Team Lead to lead a team within our Creative Production department. You will be responsible for art direction, motion design, team leadership, and process management, playing an integral part in developing specialists and workflows while contributing to our mission of creating a healthier, happier world.
What You'll Do
- Ensure high-quality motion design deliverables with a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
- Enhance visual storytelling to make materials more engaging and memorable.
- Stay updated with advancements in motion design, new technologies, and contemporary trends.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to team members to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
- Grow a design mindset across all team members.
- Transform briefs into captivating visuals, blending technical skill with creative brilliance across various formats and platforms.
- Create captivating visuals from scratch or based on existing materials for performance and marketing campaigns.
- Mentor and inspire other members of the production team.
- Bring innovative ideas and creative solutions to the creative production process.
- Collaborate with other creative minds to bring vision and strategy to life, ensuring seamless communication.
- Build productive relationships with other teams within the business to deliver better results.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to elevate the work and support less experienced team members.
- Manage direct reports, overseeing their day-to-day workload.
- Define process and workflow, emphasizing planning versus reactive ways of working.
- Anticipate talent and project needs in advance.
- Ensure the team adheres to current processes and identifies opportunities for improvement.
- Propose and create processes and tools to support continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ proven years of experience leading a Motion Design team.
- Strong portfolio showcasing motion design skills.
- High level of competency with Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Figma.
- High level of competency with Generative AI tools.
- Understanding of various media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Google, TikTok, etc.) and their specific design requirements and formats.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Operate autonomously, eliminating the necessity for continuous managerial guidance.
- Fluent oral and written level of English.
